In order to make the UK greener and tackle the energy crisis, funding is available to millions of Families
Whilst the news may tell you about contributions towards your energy bills, many people don’t realise they could be entitled to tens of thousands of pounds of home energy improvements, as part of the £640 million per year ECO4 (energy company obligation) scheme. This scheme is backed by government legislation and paid for by the energy companies, through a levy charged on energy bills.
How to qualify:
As limited funding is available, unfortunately full funding isn’t available for everyone. However, if you meet the following criteria, you could be eligible for Government Backed Funding:
✓ You own or privately rent your home
✓ You heat your home without gas e.g. using oil, electricity or LPG
✓ Your home’s EPC rating is an E or lower
✓ Somebody within the home receives a benefit
If you don’t meet the criteria, but you have a low household income, you could qualify for Local Authority Funding.
